The Song

(written when I was 9)

It entered my ears,

And filled me with wonder

As I listened to it

So peaceful, so calm

It reminded me of just the sound of the waves,

Of the tide coming in

It reminded me of a library ,

Full up of books,

With a view into a garden of trees and flowers
