If I were to go

If I were to go
Would you come along?
And meet the hushed gilt fields
The euphonious birds’ song.
If I went away
For an adventure of my own.
Would you be there with me?
Or would I be alone?
In lush green valleys,
Caressed by the delicate breeze,
Bathing in gold sunlight,
Adorned with rustling trees,
By glistening, azure seas,
That playfully lick the sunburnt sand.
Will you be there?
To tenderly hold my hand?
Or on frigid, stormy nights,
When the moon is pale and eerie,
As the wind hauntingly whistles through the trees,
Will you be there with me?
I want you to come along
And see the skies of navy blue.
See the cascading waterfalls dramatically tumble,
I want to see them with you.
